Joe Herlihy is a designer and furniture/object maker in Portland, Oregon. Originally from New England, he moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2010. He graduated from the Evergreen State College in 2013 where he studied primarily art, craft, and furniture design.
Through thoughtful composition of form, attention to detail, and conscious use of materials Joe designs and crafts objects that retain their utility and style. Joe has long been interested in what defines our experience of everyday objects. The intention behind all his designs is to create utilitarian and aesthetic harmony.
